So I asked the java geek and beg him to create a java script for me for the labels. I told him to create a script that will let me choose how many labels I want to show depending on how frequent I used. The logic behind his widget is this it will only show LABELS that I used frequently. If I ask it show only fie labels, it will show the top five labels I use. And since it is a java script, it also took a lot of time to load… so even though he spend some time dong it, I have to say goodbye to his script.

Then a brilliant idea came to me once upon a time I was sitting down on our toilet seat (how come that during this times ideas came flowing in my mind?).. why not use the search label instead? What I did is to click a certain label on my post. For example the label BLOGGING. If you click it it will give you a page full of blog entries with the same label blogging, right?

You will notice that n your browser tab the url appears like this:

http://YOUR SITE URL/search/label/the label you clicked

And since I clicked Blogging this is what I got:

http://www.techpehpot.com/search/label/Blogging

And all of my blog entries that I labeled Blogging appeared. What I did to make it a ” category widget” on my sidebar was add an html widget on my sidebars and paste the anchored text links on it. My text links have the name of a certain label and it is linked to the search url (like the one above) of that label.

So for the category BLOGGING it is linked to http://www.techpehpot.com/search/label/Blogging

Get it?If you are wondering why there is no “category widget” here yet.. uh well, I am still figuring out what are the labels that I want to show.. still organizing my labels . If you have more questions feel free to ask here.. I will try my best to answer them.
